I was a childhood friend of Karen's, living 2 doors down from the Hill's in W.Van. I think i spent more time there than at my own house! With 5 kids, 2 cats, assorted kittens and dogs, it was a lively and fun place to play. I'm not sure how Mrs. Hill handled it, but there was always fresh baked bread or cookies for us (if we hadn't eaten all the dough first!).
