A memory from Lions Gate

As previous writers have stated I also worked with Janet at LGH OR, and because we shared our first name we had an immediate "click". I enjoyed our work days together, she was always so quiet and matter of fact, but always interested in our families. Advice often came in the form of kindness, comfort and matter of fact words. Nort long before her retirement she had asked to be given easier assignments in surgery, so one day one of those "easy" surgeries turned awfully wrong. I remember looking into her eyes, now totally wide with horror, and saying" We'll manage". After she settled down Janet drew on her years of experience and we did our best to help this patient and surgeon. Some time after that day retirement looked so much better. I hope it was a happy one for her and her family. My deepest condolences go to all of Janet's family. Janet Dysart
